Noida, March 30 — A red Lamborghini sports car allegedly hit two pedestrians on a footpath near an under-construction complex in Noida’s Sector 94 on Sunday.
A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows a bystander confronting the driver. “Have you learnt a lot of stunts? Do you know how many people have died here?” the man asks.
The driver responds, “Koi mar gaya hai idhar?” (Did anyone die here?). Another bystander recording the incident is heard saying, “Call the cops, call the cops.”
According to an NDTV report, the injured workers were taken to a nearby hospital and are out of danger. The driver, who reportedly claimed he had only “gently” pressed the accelerator, was taken into custody. The car has been seized by the police.
