GURUGRAM/MOHALI, DEC 30, 2025: Police are investigating the death of a 25-year-old air hostess from Mohali who died after being taken to a private hospital in Gurugram on Sunday morning, officials said.
The deceased, Simran Dadwal, was employed with Air India and had been visiting a friend’s house in DLF Phase 1 for a party on Saturday night. Police said liquor was consumed during the gathering.
“After the party, the group went to sleep,” a senior police officer said. “Early Sunday morning, the woman complained of breathing problems.”
Friends rushed Simran to a nearby hospital around 5 a.m., but she was declared dead on arrival, police said.
The body was taken into custody and a postmortem examination was conducted. “Viscera has been sent to FSL Madhuban for chemical analysis,” the officer said, adding that the cause of death cannot be ascertained until the report is received.
Police said the case is being examined from all angles. “The circumstances are suspicious, but no formal complaint has been lodged by the family,” the officer said. “The investigation will proceed based on forensic findings.”
Simran was a native of Mohali, Punjab, and had previously worked with Vistara Airlines before joining Air India.
