Legal representatives for the family maintained that the minor and her parents relocated to Haryana after experiencing persistent visits from media personnel and police officers at their former residence. AAP leaders affirmed that the teenager was harassed and forced into making earlier apology videos, while Congress representatives asserted that the handling of the minor highlights systemic misuse of authority.
The initial legal proceedings began following a complaint filed by a Supreme Court advocate regarding the July demonstration, resulting in charges transferred to Delhi authorities for investigation. Although a prior video showed the minor expressing regret for her statements, the release of the latest recording has escalated political debate surrounding her treatment and privacy rights.
