Following public comments from opposition parties, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that the state administration responded with urgency from the onset of the case to maintain complete transparency.
Police officials confirmed that five individuals named in the family’s formal complaint were swiftly booked and taken into custody by state police. To ensure a meticulous inquiry into all surrounding circumstances, the administration established a Special Investigation Team headed by a senior ADGP-rank officer. State officials maintained that the government remains fully supportive of the bereaved family and will ensure that all facts are brought to light through formal legal channels.
