Lucknow: In a major measure aimed at enhancing candidate readiness, a comprehensive free mock interview programme was conducted at Bhagidari Bhavan, Gomti Nagar, for candidates who cleared the UPPCS-2025 Main Examination. Organized by the Social Welfare Department, the initiative brought together senior administrative officials and domain specialists to assist aspirants in navigating the final interview round.
The evaluation panel featured IAS and PCS officers associated with the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management, alongside subject matter experts. They replicated the actual interview environment, subjecting candidates to rigorous questioning across diverse fields to assess their conceptual clarity, response delivery, self-confidence, and general personality presentation.
The primary objective of the session was to provide candidates with a realistic preview of the final selection board while offering actionable advice. Panellists emphasized the importance of maintaining clarity of thought, keeping a calm demeanour, and demonstrating a well-rounded viewpoint. Individual feedback was shared to allow candidates to rectify identified shortcomings before appearing for their official interviews.
Providing details about the initiative, Social Welfare Department Deputy Director Anand Kumar Singh declared that the platform was made available to all UPPCS-2025 Main qualified aspirants, including those receiving coaching through key state welfare schemes. These included candidates affiliated with the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana, the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute, Bhagidari Bhavan, and various Pre-Examination Training Centres across the state.
