Amritsar, May 24: A fatal shooting targeting a commuting traffic police officer sparked widespread panic across the Majitha region on Sunday, prompting a multi-district mobilization of special investigative teams, senior administrative controllers affirmed.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Joga Singh was killed on impact after being intercepted by two masked gunmen during his daily transit toward his station assignment under the Amritsar Police Commissionerate.
