Mohali, June 15: During a celebratory roadshow in Mohali marking recent Municipal Corporation election successes, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann outlined extensive technical and economic advancements achieved over their four-and-a-half-year tenure. The administrative leaders stated that the electoral results reflect deep public endorsement of the transition toward transparent, metrics-driven governance. The roadshow drew senior political figures, including regional ministers and legislative representatives, who observed the widespread public turnout across the urban center.

Arvind Kejriwal asserted that the state has successfully reversed the economic and social stagnation that characterized earlier decades. He noted that previous governing coalitions under traditional parties oversaw a steep decline in public order and safety, which left regional infrastructure severely depleted. He stated that the current executive team has systematically addressed these vulnerabilities by routing public funds directly into neighborhood services. He noted that local families are experiencing immediate relief through the elimination of domestic electricity costs for more than 90 percent of households, alongside the introduction of structured financial assistance programs for women across all demographic categories.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that opposition groups remain unable to process the rapid pace of development occurring across Punjab. He maintained that while he does not possess experience in exploiting public resources for personal gain, he remains fully focused on addressing the practical problems of the common citizen. He noted that the administration has systematically optimized taxpayer funds, pointing to the closure of multiple highway toll plazas which saves local commuters approximately 70 lakh rupees every single day. He also noted that Punjab made history by acquiring a major private thermal power station to secure long-term energy independence under public management.

Reviewing agricultural engineering milestones, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann noted that the state successfully distributed 21,000 cusecs of irrigation water through 14,000 kilometers of newly developed pipelines and surface channels. This major infrastructure overhaul allowed local agriculturalists to utilize 96 percent of available canal water resources this year, preventing historical patterns of waste and helping to stabilize regional groundwater levels.

The Chief Minister also noted that the newly instituted Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna represents the country’s most comprehensive universal healthcare initiative, granting up to 10 lakh rupees in cashless treatment annually per household. He stated that the program has effectively reduced the financial vulnerability of ordinary families, with over 650 crore rupees in medical costs already absorbed by the state framework. He declared that honesty and targeted service delivery have fundamentally changed the political landscape of the region, ensuring that public resources remain dedicated exclusively to community development.
