New Delhi, March 23 — A 17-year-old boy and girl were found hanging from a tree in southwest Delhi’s Hauz Khas area early Sunday morning, police said.
The duo was discovered at Deer Park, where they had reportedly used a “common nylon rope” to hang themselves from a tree branch. The boy was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans, while the girl was dressed in a green outfit, a senior Delhi Police officer said.
Police received a PCR call at 6:31 am from a park security guard, reporting the incident. Officers rushed to the scene, brought down the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination.
Forensic teams thoroughly examined the area and collected key evidence. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
