Woman Brandishes Licensed Revolver at Petrol Pump Worker

by TheReportingTimes

Bilgram (Hardoi), June 16 – A routine safety instruction turned into a dramatic showdown at a petrol pump on Sandi Road in Bilgram town on Sunday night, when a woman allegedly pointed a licensed revolver at an employee following an altercation over CNG refuelling protocol, police said.

According to officials, petrol pump worker Rajneesh Kumar had asked the occupants of a car to step out during CNG refuelling — a standard safety measure — when a heated argument ensued. During the confrontation, a man accompanied by two women allegedly assaulted Rajneesh. The younger woman then retrieved a licensed revolver from the vehicle and aimed it at his chest, threatening to shoot him multiple times, the police said.

Rajneesh, who later filed a complaint, identified the woman as Surish Khan alias Ariba, daughter of Ehsaan Khan, and alleged that Ehsaan and his wife Husnabano also physically assaulted him. “She said she would shoot me so badly that my family wouldn’t recognise me,” Rajneesh claimed in his complaint.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV, and the footage has been handed over to the police.

Circle Officer Ravi Prakash Singh confirmed that an FIR has been registered, and the licensed revolver along with 25 live cartridges has been seized. “The accused have been questioned, and a detailed investigation is underway,” he added.
