Chandigarh, Oct 4: Love appears to be in the air in Tollywood, with reports claiming that actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have secretly gotten engaged. According to M9 News, the duo exchanged rings in a private ceremony attended only by close family and friends, and are planning to marry in February 2026.
While neither Rashmika nor Vijay has publicly confirmed the engagement, their silence has only intensified speculation. The rumours gained further traction after Rashmika’s recent Dussehra post on Instagram, where she was seen wearing a traditional saree with a tilak on her forehead.
“Happy Dussehra my loves… This year, I’m feeling extra grateful because of all the love you’ve been showering on the Thamma trailer and our song,” she wrote. “Your messages, your excitement, your constant support — you make every moment bigger and happier for me. And I can’t wait to see you all super sooooon during the promotions.”
The post quickly drew a flurry of congratulatory comments from fans who suspected the festive message carried a hidden clue about her engagement.
The buzz also revived an old clip from last year’s Pushpa 2 promotions, where Rashmika was asked if she would marry someone from the film industry. Her playful response — “Everyone knows about it” — had sparked laughter and speculation about her relationship with Vijay Deverakonda.
On the professional front, Rashmika is gearing up for the release of Thamma, a horror-comedy directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal.
