Chandigarh, March 2: Flipkart has introduced a series of aggressive price cuts on the iPhone 16, allowing shoppers to acquire the 2024 flagship for an effective price of under Rs 47,000. This shift represents a major departure from the original launch price of Rs 79,900, as the platform seeks to capture the mid-range premium market through bundled financial offers.
The base 128GB variant is currently retailing at a flat price of Rs 64,900. However, the use of exchange programs and bank-specific incentives further reduces the financial burden. Users of ICICI or Axis Bank credit cards can claim an additional Rs 2,000 off their purchase. Furthermore, the exchange of older models can shave off as much as Rs 16,500 from the final bill.
“If there are no cracks, no display issues, and everything works properly, you are more likely to get the full benefit,” retail analysts declared regarding the exchange process. They maintained that the hardware remains a top-tier choice for those prioritizing longevity and performance, especially with the inclusion of the A18 processor.
The device remains a powerhouse in the photography department, featuring a 48MP main sensor and a 12MP selfie camera. It also continues to support MagSafe charging and high-fidelity video calls. Experts asserted that for those planning to transition from much older models, the current pricing structure makes the iPhone 16 a much more practical purchase than during its initial release period.
