The SSP affirmed that the department is focused on identifying the sources from which these synthetic drugs are being procured, particularly from border areas and neighboring states.

The police maintained that the accused were nabbed following precise intelligence regarding their presence in the city. Officials declared that the state is maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards drug trafficking to protect the youth from the menace of addiction. They asserted that the ongoing investigation will look into the financial aspects of the trade and the network used by the accused to transport such high-value contraband across state lines.
