Gurugram, March 16: The Gurugram police are investigating the deaths of a school owner and his minor daughter who fell from the 23rd floor of a housing complex in Sector 102 on Monday. Rahul Vijayran, who operated a school in Delhi with his wife, allegedly jumped from a balcony in Tower 5 of the Joyville Society. His wife discovered the tragedy after hearing a commotion outside while she was working in their apartment.
Investigating officer Sub-Inspector Jagmal Singh declared that the case is being examined from all angles, particularly regarding why the victim moved to a different tower to commit the act. Relatives maintained that the family had only moved to the society two months ago. They asserted that Rahul was deeply troubled by limited vision and ongoing health complications.
While the family has not suspected any foul play, police maintained that the investigation would continue to clarify the sequence of events. Officials stated that the couple also has an older daughter currently studying in Dehradun. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination as authorities continue to record statements from neighbors and society staff.
