Jalandhar, Nov 1:  A high-impact traffic accident late Saturday night in Jalandhar led to the deaths of two young men, aged 18 to 19, following a vehicle collision on the BMC Chowk–BSF Chowk flyover. The deceased were identified as Vidit Aulakh and Aarav Talwar, scions of the prominent local business families behind Speed Records and Pappy Sweets.

The duo was heading home when their car hit a Municipal Corporation garbage collection trolley parked along the elevated corridor where sanitation staff were operating. Authorities from the Baradari police station arrived at the site early Sunday morning to manage the scene and secure the area.

Police station officials stated that five individuals were initially traveling together before three were dropped off prior to the crash. Following requests from both bereaved families to forgo legal action, police completed initial procedural reports before transferring custody of the bodies back to the families.
