NEET Dispute Fuels Online Protest Movement

Massive viewership numbers back call for structural reforms in national testing agency

by TheReportingTimes

NEW DELHI, MAY 22 — A digital campaign focusing on widespread testing irregularities has targeted the central leadership, calling for administrative accountability from the Ministry of Education following the cancellation of national medical entrance assessments.

The Cockroach Janata Party initiated the protest via an online video format, which quickly generated substantial internet traffic, surpassing 12 million views in a single hour. Organizers confirmed that the electronic petition drew early support from tens of thousands of users who endorsed calls for organizational changes within federal testing bodies.

“Lakhs of students have had their futures compromised by a system that refuses to answer for its mistakes,” a party representative stated during the campaign rollout. The representative noted that the initiative seeks to unite youth organizations and citizens to place direct pressure on federal oversight boards.

The ongoing controversy involves approximately 22 lakh medical candidates who faced massive disruptions following paper leak reports and structural lapses. Critics argue that the National Testing Agency has consistently demonstrated an inability to protect the credibility of high-stakes academic evaluations.

While the highest judicial authorities in the country have intervened to regulate the matter, civic organizations continue to seek high-level political responsibility. Ministry officials have yet to deliver a formal response to the viral demands or the specific calls for the minister’s resignation.
