LUCKNOW — In a major push toward youth empowerment, the Uttar Pradesh Government has rolled out Project Praveen across state-run Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalayas. The initiative targets equipping more than 3,000 students with practical, industry-aligned skills in key fields like IT-ITeS, Apparel, and Management to enhance future employment and self-employment prospects.
The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission has mandated that 31 selected training providers launch their batches by September 30, 2026, adhering to strict quality guidelines. Official protocols dictate a batch cap of 35 students, 300 hours of standardized coursework, and job role validation through central NCVET and NQR platforms. Furthermore, District Programme Management Units will monitor compliance, requiring proof of study material distribution to guarantee transparent and effective implementation across all centers.
