Sri Anandpur Sahib: State infrastructure projects have pushed canal water distribution to 80 percent of local fields, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann declared during a public interaction programme in Jindwari village. Speaking at the Sri Anandpur Sahib venue, he stated that previous coverage stood at just 22 percent, affirming the government’s resolve to achieve 100 percent coverage for agricultural lands moving forward.
The Chief Minister asserted that the administration has prioritised transparent public spending, pointing to road renovation projects spanning 45,000 kilometres, targeted health coverage initiatives, and sports infrastructure developments across villages. In his address, he declared that traditional political parties had historically mismanaged public resources and compromised the state’s interests regarding key river water and administrative matters. He affirmed that the current governance model remains committed to equitable growth, merit-based opportunities, and direct developmental support for rural bodies.
