Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government continued its appointment letter distribution drive at Lok Bhawan, issuing orders to 912 candidates selected for specialized roles within the clerical cadre of the state police force. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the event forms part of a continuous campaign to fill vacancies across administrative and security departments without delay or bias.
During his address, the Chief Minister maintained that recruitment integrity remains guaranteed from initial advertisement through to final posting. He noted that the abolition of interviews for Group C and Group D positions, alongside strict legal measures against illegal recruitment practices, ensured fair access for qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
The state’s police force has seen significant structural upgrades, with total female representation rising past 44,000 and expected to reach 50,000 by year-end. Operational capabilities have expanded through the implementation of police commissionerates in major cities, specialized cyber police stations in every district, and upgraded residential barracks.
Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna urged the newly selected personnel to approach their roles with a sense of duty and public service. Officials highlighted that ongoing recruitments and expanded infrastructural assets reflect a sustained effort to maintain administrative efficiency and civic safety across the state.
