NEW DELHI, OCT 31: Superstar Diljit Dosanjh opened his multi-city ‘Aura Tour’ in Delhi on Friday, delivering an energetic performance to a full-capacity audience following detailed administrative clearances. Event organizers secured necessary permissions after submitting thorough traffic control and safety guidelines to the local administration.
During the event, the artist paused to bring a CRPF officer onto the main stage, publicly acknowledging the dedication of security forces. He stated that the officer’s presence brought comfort, sharing a personal moment about speaking with his mother prior to taking the stage.
Responding to public commentary regarding his stance on recent social protests, the singer affirmed his commitment to his artistic role while standing firm on his heritage. He asserted that Punjabis possess an inherent understanding of struggle, recalling the extended legal and creative effort required to bring the biographical movie ‘Sutlej’—centered on activist Jaswant Singh Khalra—to audiences.
The artist declared that he chooses to respond to criticism with goodwill, maintaining a positive focus for his supporters across the country. The tour will proceed across India, with stops planned in key cities including Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and Kolkata before concluding in late December.
