Karnal, Nov 5: Prominent national and state leaders gathered in Karnal on Thursday for the ‘Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao’ rally, where Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered an address focusing on democratic practices and parliamentary procedure. Shah highlighted the importance of maintaining active legislative sessions over routine boycotts or floor disruptions.
The event featured a large-scale public procession ending at Dayanand Chowk. Key dignitaries present alongside the Home Minister included Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union Minister and Karnal MP Manohar Lal, and state leadership officials.
During his address, Shah asserted that elected representatives must utilize parliamentary channels for detailed policy discussions rather than resorting to walkouts. He maintained that democratic institutions are resilient and declared that the administration stands prepared to present its arguments and policy perspectives in any legislative forum across the country.
