Ayodhya, Nov 6: As Ayodhya prepares to light 30 lakh lamps during Deepotsav 2026, newly completed tourism facilities at Ram Ki Paidi are already providing a fresh riverfront experience to visiting crowds. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh asserted that the state government’s focus on expanding religious and cultural tourism led to the addition of an open-air theatre, visitor galleries, and artistic stone structures along the Saryu.

The project incorporates six stone chhatris, six stone Jyoti Deep installations, stone planters, decorative latticework, and illuminated inscription panels. Minister Jaiveer Singh declared that the permanent features will establish Ram Ki Paidi as a key venue for cultural programs and peaceful leisure, boosting Ayodhya’s tourism appeal beyond the festival season.

Tourism Director General Amrit Abhijat stated that the development framework emphasizes integrating modern tourist amenities with the city’s rich spiritual identity. He noted that the newly constructed stage, viewing gallery, and mural walls offer a dedicated space for cultural heritage displays right on the riverfront.
