AAP Advisor Rejects Congress Critique of Government Heritage Programs

Deepak Bali vows continued support for state-wide religious and cultural observances

by TheReportingTimes

CHANDIGARH, AUGUST 25  — Punjab Government Advisor on Culture and Tourism Deepak Bali rejected objections raised by Congress MP Dr Dharamvir Gandhi over public funding for religious observances. Addressing media representatives, Bali asserted that Punjab’s social fabric relies on communal harmony and shared respect for diverse faiths.

“The people of Punjab have placed their trust in the Bhagwant Mann government,” declared Deepak Bali. He maintained that state-backed events honoring spiritual leaders provide positive guidance for youth, citing statewide Shobha Yatras, Kirtan Samagams, and documentary screenings planned for major historical anniversaries.

Defending programs based on Sanatan traditions, Bali asserted that public attendance reflects deep-rooted community engagement rather than political display. He noted that presentations depicting historical narratives convey valuable moral lessons regarding family values and societal obligations.

The AAP official declared that opposition criticisms fail to diminish the government’s commitment to preserving regional traditions. He affirmed that the state administration will expand cultural outreach initiatives across all districts moving forward.
