Chief Minister welcomes former Akali legislator and extensive grassroots network

Chandigarh, July 2: The Aam Aadmi Party secured a major strategic advantage in Patran with the official induction of former Akali Dal MLA Vaninder Kaur Loomba and Karan Singh DTO. Accompanied by hundreds of active campaign organizers and local supporters, the leaders formally joined the ruling party on Wednesday under the stewardship of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The structural shift severely depletes the local opposition network, transferring a deeply entrenched voter apparatus directly to the Mann administration. Political analysts state that the movement of an entire local faction underscores a shifting alignment among regional leadership ahead of upcoming rural institutional assessments.

Welcoming the new members, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann declared that the entry of dedicated neighborhood organizers provides a massive boost to the party’s existing framework. He maintained that the voluntary realignment of seasoned politicians proves the effectiveness of the state’s current governance model.

The newly inducted leaders stated that the administration’s focus on tangible, pro-people outcomes motivated their decision to merge their independent bases with the ruling front. They affirmed that the party’s developmental approach has emerged as a unifying force across the state’s political landscape.

Chief Minister Mann asserted that the expansion validates the state’s structural trajectory, noting that the migration of entire party units demonstrates deep public trust. “Such a large number of supporters from the opposition party joining AAP reflects the growing public endorsement of the AAP government’s pro-people works and policies, which will further expand and strengthen the party’s base in the coming times,” the Chief Minister declared.
