Front requests administrative evaluation of new cinematic project

Chandigarh, July 9: The leadership of the Anti-Terrorist Front India has signaled its intention to seek judicial intervention if a newly produced film titled ‘Sutlej’ is released without regulatory adjustments. The independent body is urging federal authorities to examine the media content closely, expressing concerns that the narrative could impact communal harmony and youth perspectives across the region.

“We are fully prepared to approach the apex courts to ensure that the hard-earned peace of Punjab is not compromised,” National President Viresh Shandilya stated during an interaction alongside senior organizational activists in Patiala. He maintained that the collective goal of all stakeholders must remain focused on safeguarding national integration.

The organization has formally requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to look into the matter directly and assess the potential social implications of the film’s release. Representatives suggested that an institutional review by specialized investigative agencies would provide clarity and reassure the public.

“Necessary steps must also be initiated if this project finds a platform overseas,” Shandilya affirmed regarding the film’s broader reach. He declared that a unified approach between state and central authorities would effectively address any underlying sensitivities while keeping public order intact.
