Chandigarh, August 27: Private coaching centers operating across Haryana face strict operational limits following the notification of comprehensive rules governing their registration, infrastructure, and promotional activities. The state framework requires all tuition hubs to upload complete operational data on official portals and prominently display fee structures, tutor qualifications, and class schedules on public notice boards.
The registration process requires district authorities to evaluate applications within 30 days. If inspectors identify infrastructure or safety deficiencies, institutes will receive 10 days to correct the issues before receiving final operational clearance.
Institutes are required to maintain transparent records covering ownership details, student enrollment counts, refund policies, and verified police background checks for all teaching and non-teaching personnel.
“Registered coaching institutes must maintain records and upload them on their official websites, besides furnishing annual information to the district authority,” affirmed higher education officials detailing the statutory compliance mandates.
The rules clarify that while compliant centers may label themselves as “registered,” they are prohibited from misrepresenting their status as state-approved institutions. Officials maintained that strict enforcement mechanisms will operate at the district level to ensure private institutes operate within legal parameters.
