Gurugram, April 29: A series of bomb threat emails sent to at least 10 major schools in Gurugram sparked widespread disruption and fear on Wednesday. The threats, delivered during the early morning hours, prompted a rapid response from local law enforcement and emergency services who rushed to secure the targeted campuses.

The email reached school inboxes just as the academic day began, leading to immediate shutdowns at several high-profile locations. Upon learning of the potential danger, school managements informed the authorities and sent urgent notifications to parents. Police officials affirmed that the coordination between school staff and security teams allowed for a controlled dispersal of students, though the atmosphere outside the gates remained tense.

A senior officer asserted that multiple police teams are on duty to conduct thorough inspections of the buildings and surrounding grounds. He stated that every campus mentioned in the communication is being meticulously searched to ensure no suspicious objects are present. He further noted that the authorities are investigating the timing and content of the emails to identify those responsible for the disturbance.

Parents gathered at the sites expressed their anxiety over the recurring nature of such threats in the area. Law enforcement maintains that the safety of the public is the top priority and has urged residents to remain calm while the search operations are finalized. Officials declared that updates will be provided as the technical investigation into the email’s source progresses.
