Rajpura, June 26: A routine business day turned chaotic in Rajpura when two unidentified men targeted a local real estate office in a targeted shooting. The suspects managed to escape on a two-wheeler after firing a sequence of shots into the building, leaving staff shaken but unhurt.
The incident unfolded at Laxmi Property Dealer when a gunman inquired about the proprietor from an employee on duty. Upon learning the owner was absent, the individual pulled out a firearm and began shooting indiscriminately before running back to a waiting scooter.
A large contingent of police personnel reached the spot shortly after the shooting to initiate emergency protocols. “After a woman employee informed him that Pahuja was not present, the man allegedly pulled out a revolver and opened fire before escaping with his accomplice,” a witness declared to investigators at the scene.
