Chandigarh, June 10: The high-level leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party is converging on New Delhi to initiate a comprehensive two-day strategy session centered on the forthcoming Punjab legislative elections. The political committee stated that the main objective of the conference, which begins June 11 under the guidance of Arvind Kejriwal, is to deliberate on local candidate selection and finalize the distribution of tickets through detailed constituency reviews.
Government sources stated that the first day of the panel will prioritize internal discussions regarding those geographical areas where existing lawmakers or representatives are slated for a change. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will provide the state leadership’s perspective during the evening segment of the opening day.
“In this meeting, there will be a detailed discussion about the Punjab Assembly elections and especially a strategy will be prepared regarding the distribution of tickets,” a committee official declared regarding the scheduled agenda.
The party administration maintained that selecting clean and capable faces remains the highest priority for the organization as it prepares to defend its legislative position. Organizers stated that the two-day framework was specifically chosen to give ample time for granular discussions on every single district.
Chief Minister Mann’s visit to the capital involves a dual itinerary of governance and political coordination. He will represent the state at the national NITI Aayog assembly during the morning hours before shifting his focus to the political affairs committee on the evening of June 11 to help solidify the party’s field operations.
