Chandigarh, September 26: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday unveiled the official logo for state-level events commemorating the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur.

Addressing the media, Mann said the state government has already planned a series of events across Punjab to mark this “once-in-a-lifetime” occasion in a befitting manner. “A massive kirtan darbar will be held in Delhi on October 25, followed by a major event at Anandpur Sahib on November 25,” he noted.

The CM also detailed that four ‘nagar kirtans’ will begin on November 20 from Jammu, Gurdaspur, Faridkot, and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib in Bathinda, and will reach Anandpur Sahib on the evening of November 22. Various functions are scheduled in the holy city from November 23 to 25.

Mann highlighted that the underlying message of these events will be to encourage people to embrace the high ideals of secularism, humanism, and the spirit of sacrifice as preached and practiced by Guru Teg Bahadur. “These events are an opportunity for every citizen to reflect on the Guru’s teachings and values,” he said.

Officials said the celebrations will include religious, cultural, and social initiatives designed to engage communities across the state, ensuring that the Guru’s legacy is remembered and honoured.
