JHAJJAR, Haryana, Dec 14— Poor visibility caused by dense fog led to a collision involving three buses at Kulana Chowk in Haryana’s Jhajjar district on Sunday morning, police said.
According to Machrauli police, the accident occurred when a truck was parked in the middle of the road, resulting in the first bus colliding with it, followed by two buses that were trailing behind.
“We saw three buses at the spot. The first one, coming from Khatusham, was badly damaged,” the area SHO said. “There was heavy fog, and the driver said a truck was blocking the road, which caused the collision.”
The driver of the first bus suffered a major leg injury and was shifted to PGI Rohtak for advanced medical care, police said.
No other serious injuries were reported. Police cleared the site and restored traffic after a brief disruption.
Officials have urged drivers to slow down and remain alert during foggy conditions to avoid similar accidents.
