Chandigarh, June 20: A statewide mobilization by the Aam Aadmi Party sought to expose a political conspiracy involving a manipulated social media video directed at Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Demonstrators assembled at major municipal junctions, such as Joginder Chowk in Moga and Valmiki Chowk in Pathankot, to reject the use of fabricated content in political discourse. Party officials stated that the dissemination of misleading footage represents an attempt to damage the reputation of the state leadership and create unnecessary public confusion.
The public rallies highlighted the administration’s focus on constructive governance over adversarial rhetoric. According to participating representatives, regional voters have consistently favored performance-driven politics over divisive strategies. Organizers remarked that the rapid transformation of the state’s educational facilities and healthcare infrastructure has left traditional political factions searching for alternative ways to maintain public visibility.
“Our government has provided nearly 44,000 government jobs to the youth of Punjab in a transparent manner,” senior leader Harpal Singh Cheema stated. He affirmed that substantial advancements in public utilities, including the provision of 300 units of free monthly electricity to domestic households, have established strong structural foundations for the state. “Unable to digest the rapid progress taking place in Punjab, the opposition has now resorted to cheap politics. It has made a vile attempt to create and circulate a fabricated and fake video on social media to tarnish the clean image of our Chief Minister,” he asserted.
The party leadership concluded that the widespread public participation in Saturday’s rallies demonstrates a collective resistance to deceptive political tactics. Regional spokespersons stated that administrative mechanisms will remain fully operational to ensure that developmental targets are met without interruption. The administration reiterated its long-standing commitment to building an inclusive and stable environment focused on genuine civic transformation.
