Faridkot, June 23: The ruling administration has unveiled a comprehensive strategy to counter historical governance failures by introducing merit-based employment, universal health coverage, and stringent oversight. During a state-led community outreach programme in Faridkot on Monday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann declared that previous political regimes had systematically weakened the state’s economic and social fabric for personal gains. The state government announced that it is actively dismantling illicit networks while simultaneously elevating Punjab’s educational and social security indicators to premier positions nationally.
The current governance model places significant emphasis on fiscal responsibility and the optimization of public resources for the general populace. “The government is living up to the expectations of Punjabis and every single penny is being spent on the development of the state and its people,” the Chief Minister asserted. The state’s welfare expansion includes the provision of free electricity to over 90% of households and the historic public acquisition of a private thermal plant to secure regional power autonomy.
The administration also detailed strategic interventions aimed at bolstering rural socio-economic structures and safeguarding cultural harmony. Legal frameworks have been strengthened through precise statutory amendments to act as a permanent deterrent against anti-social elements attempting to disrupt regional peace. According to state officials present at the Panjgrain Kalan gathering, these interconnected policy measures reflect a broader legislative vision to ensure long-term stability and economic dignity for every resident family.
