Administrative Upgrades Announced for Gurdaspur Region

Centralized offices to improve governance efficiency as state clears pending dues

by TheReportingTimes

Gurdaspur, June 30: The Punjab Government will establish a comprehensive sub-divisional complex in Qadian to centralize local administrative operations and make government offices easily accessible to the public. During a massive community gathering in the border belt, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced that all formal procedures for the sub-division status are being fast-tracked to accelerate regional growth.

The structural upgrade runs alongside a sequence of youth and community welfare deadlines across the state. The Chief Minister asserted that the administration will dedicate 3,100 newly constructed sports stadiums by July 15 to keep the youth positively engaged, while public exchequer funds are being consistently routed into upgraded schools, healthcare infrastructure, and the removal of expensive toll plazas.

“The huge gathering here reflects that the people of Qadian are eagerly waiting to bring about a change,” Chief Minister Mann stated while addressing the public. “Successive governments ignored the development of Punjab’s border region, but our government has made every possible effort to ensure its progress. The people living along the border are true patriots who have always stood firmly with the nation, and our government is fully committed to their welfare.”

The administration highlighted that its citizen-centric financial practices have allowed for significant milestones, including providing merit-based employment to more than 68,000 youth without corruption. Farmers are also receiving uninterrupted power supply during the daytime, a change that has helped stabilize local agricultural operations.

The Chief Minister concluded that the public has increasingly embraced this transparent model of governance, which directly counters the exploitative practices of traditional political factions. He urged the people to maintain this momentum into upcoming elections to safeguard the ongoing social, economic, and infrastructural transformation of the state.
