New Delhi, July 25: AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal criticized the administration’s announcement regarding fast-track courts for paper leak cases, asserting that judicial speed cannot substitute for thorough investigative work.
The statement came after reports indicated that the Central Bureau of Investigation found no evidence against a primary suspect in the 2024 NEET paper leak case.
Kejriwal declared that the collapse of key cases highlights a fundamental gap in how examination frauds are investigated. He maintained that letting main suspects secure relief due to lack of evidence renders special courts ineffective.
“If main suspects are cleared and no alternative masterminds are identified, it creates the impression that no leak occurred at all,” Kejriwal stated, asserting that the government must focus on preventing leaks in upcoming examination cycles rather than relying on post-incident judicial measures.
Highlighting the emotional and academic strain on lakhs of young aspirants nationwide, the AAP leader affirmed that meaningful action requires strict investigative accountability and preventive protocols to safeguard the future of students.
