by TheReportingTimes

Dausa, July 1: A massive fire triggered by a high-speed collision between a passenger bus and a cargo truck left eight dead and nearly two dozen injured on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The violent pre-dawn accident occurred in the Kolwa police territory of Dausa, causing widespread panic among sleeping passengers as both vehicles were quickly engulfed in thick smoke and flames.

The impact of the crash caused immediate fatalities before medical teams could arrive at the expressway site. Police authorities affirmed that five travelers perished inside the burning cabin, while two others suffered fatal head trauma as they were thrown by the force of the collision. Zonal police chief Piyush Dixit declared that the interstate bus belonged to Hans Travels and was navigating its routine long-distance route to Indore when the vehicle struck a truck moving directly ahead of it.

Medical teams quickly transferred twenty-four injured passengers to the district hospital for emergency treatment, where administrative staff verified that the survivors remain in stable condition. Additional Superintendent of Police Shankar Lal asserted that specialized fire rescue squads had to suppress the heavy blaze completely before recovery teams could safely access the charred remains of the transport vehicles. Local administrators maintained that formal investigative teams have been deployed to analyze the exact mechanical or human factors that caused the initial highway collision.
