The Wing Commander was booked under stringent provisions of the Official Secrets Act after being transferred to police custody by defense authorities.
Air Force officials confirmed that intelligence units detected suspicious digital activity early, keeping the officer under continuous observation before initiating formal legal action.
According to police investigators, the officer allegedly established contact with foreign handlers online and subsequently shared sensitive operational material. Authorities declared that the suspect also faced charges related to unauthorized software installation on a fellow officer’s mobile phone aimed at extracting additional classified data.
