CHANDIGARH: The State Health Agency of Punjab has introduced online card generation services for families enrolled under the Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana. The portal upgrade allows authenticated users to complete verification protocols and secure digital copies of their health documentation without visiting regional facilitation desks. The scheme offers families across the state annual financial protection against major medical expenses up to ₹10 lakh.
The portal workflow involves three primary stages: locating family records via designated reference numbers, completing one-time security authentication, and generating the final verified health card. Departmental guidelines confirm that updated photograph verification must be completed online prior to final card generation.
Representatives noted that storing verified digital records on personal devices ensures immediate document availability during hospital admissions. The initiative forms part of broader administrative efforts to enhance public service delivery through secure digital infrastructure across state health networks.
