New Delhi: Special traffic arrangements and route diversions have been implemented across central and southern parts of the national capital ahead of international summit rehearsals, declared Delhi Traffic Police. Covering over 35 major arterial roads—including Janpath, Akbar Road, Mathura Road, and Ashoka Road—the traffic advisory aims to ensure seamless movement for diplomatic motorcades while maintaining essential public connectivity.
Traffic authorities declared that commuters heading toward major transport hubs should follow designated corridors to avoid congestion around central areas. Route maps have been activated for passengers traveling to Old Delhi, New Delhi, and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations via ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Rani Jhansi Flyover, and Ashram Chowk.
For airport-bound commuters, detailed detours incorporating UER-II, Dwarka Road, and Rao Tula Ram Marg have been established to maintain connectivity with Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Traffic management personnel maintained that real-time updates will be provided across official platforms, encouraging citizens to utilize public rail networks wherever possible to ensure smooth urban transit.
