Chandigarh, Sept 15: The Punjab government has accelerated enforcement operations aimed at dismantling organized crime syndicates and inter-state drug networks operating within its borders.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann maintained that the state Anti-Gangster Task Force has carried out extensive operations since 2022, securing significant weapon recoveries and detaining criminal operatives and their associates. Mann stated that border enforcement efforts, including state-funded anti-drone installations, have curtailed cross-border narcotics smuggling, prompting tighter surveillance along domestic transit corridors.
State leaders affirmed that law enforcement agencies will maintain a strict zero-tolerance approach toward criminal syndicates regardless of external political influence. Official communications declared that state authorities are committed to securing long-term economic stability, protecting youth, and safeguarding Punjab’s reputation as a secure gateway to the nation.
