Chandigarh, Sept 20: The Aam Aadmi Party welcomed senior leader and former three-time MLA Ranjit Singh Chhajalwaddi into its fold along with his son Satinderjit Singh Chhajalwaddi during a formal joining.
The joining was coordinated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s OSD, Rajbir Singh Ghuman, who formally inducted both leaders. Satinderjit Singh Chhajalwaddi brings active organizational experience, having served as constituency in-charge and contested the 2022 state Assembly polls from Jandiala Guru.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajbir Singh Ghuman affirmed the strong public ground created by the Chhajalwaddi family over years of service in Baba Bakala. He asserted that the party values experienced leadership and would ensure full dignity and responsibility for the incoming leaders.
The development is expected to reinforce the governing party’s organizational structure in the Baba Bakala belt. The induction aligns with a broader trend of public figures and experienced politicians aligning with the Aam Aadmi Party’s vision across Punjab.
