Lucknow: The implementation of the Lucknow Development Authority’s Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar urban development projects has drawn positive responses from affected landholders, who reported a hassle-free experience during the land compensation phase. Speaking after the recent bhoomi pujan ceremony held for the dual housing initiatives, local property owners maintained that the entire transaction was conducted with transparency and speed.
Aspirants and local residents affirmed that the received funds have allowed them to upgrade their living conditions and plan long-term investments. Ramdei, a landholder from Rewari village whose property was incorporated into the developmental layout, asserted that the fair valuation of her land provided financial stability for her household. In Dona village, farmer Kamlesh Kumar affirmed that his compensation of two crore eighty lakh rupees for one hectare of land facilitated the purchase of fresh land in Unnao district alongside the construction of a new home.
The financial relief has also provided crucial backing for vocational pursuits and academic goals within the community. Medical aspirant Namra Fatima declared that her family was granted seventy lakh fifty-eight thousand rupees in a single payment for land in Saidapur village. She explained that the hassle-free payout provides essential financial security for her upcoming medical studies while assisting her family in acquiring new real estate.
Landowners further noted that the streamlined administrative mechanism eliminated the need for repeated visits to government departments. Om Prakash Awasthi, who received one crore ninety-six lakh rupees for land ceded to the Naimish Nagar layout, maintained that the department initiated registration within two weeks of receiving consent forms, transferring the full sum directly to his bank account shortly thereafter. He affirmed that the quick settlement enabled him to purchase sixteen bighas of land on Biswan Road in Sitapur while retaining cash reserves in savings accounts.
