Bathinda, January 4: Dense fog led to a bus accident on the Mansa National Highway, injuring seven farmers traveling to Tohana for a Mahapanchayat organized by the United Kisan Morcha.
The bus, carrying 20 to 25 farmers, lost control and struck a pavement before overturning. The injured were promptly taken to a hospital for treatment.
The accident underscores the dangers posed by poor visibility on highways during foggy conditions. Investigations into the incident are underway.
