CHANDIGARH, MAY 28 — Archana Gupta has been named the new state president for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Haryana, marking a transition toward organizational consolidation in the state.
The announcement came on Thursday through directives issued by national party chief Nitin Nabin, executing changes across several state-level executive teams. Gupta takes over the position from Mohan Lal Badoli, who previously headed the state leadership team.
Gupta’s political career includes extensive tenure in regional governance, having broken ground as the first female district president for Panipat before ascending to the post of state general secretary. Her administrative background in managing regional party activities contributed significantly to her selection for the state’s top political role.
“This honour belongs not merely to me, but to every single party worker who remains ceaselessly dedicated to the organization’s ideology and to the service of the nation,” Gupta declared in a statement addressing her appointment.
State party representatives remarked that Gupta’s active public outreach has centered heavily on legislative awareness, particularly coordinating state-wide programs to explain central welfare policies targeting female demographics. Senior members noted that her transition from professional medicine into mainstream organizational management provides the state unit with an experienced leader focused on grassroots execution.
