Chandigarh, Sept 25: Preparations are underway at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, for ‘Jashan-e-Inquilab’, a large-scale youth gathering organized by the Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing to mark the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh on September 28. AAP Punjab Working President Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi and Youth Wing State Vice President Bir Davinder Singh affirmed during a media interaction that the initiative reflects ongoing efforts to connect young citizens with constructive social and athletic activities.
Party officials stated that the event builds on recent sports and fitness programs organized across various districts. Bir Davinder Singh recalled that earlier marathon drives in Mohali and Bathinda saw widespread turnout, framing the rising registration figures for the Ludhiana event as a positive indicator for community engagement and youth development in the region.
The event schedule includes art showcases by university students starting at 3:00 PM, a live performance by Punjabi artist Ranjit Bawa, and a keynote address by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Organizers confirmed that logistics are being finalized to accommodate the registered participants arriving from across Punjab.
