Lucknow, Sept 13: Citing the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s quarter-century in public office, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath outlined a comprehensive action plan for the upcoming ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. The Chief Minister stated that PM Modi’s journey from Gujarat to the national leadership reflects self-reliance, dedication, and last-mile service delivery.
The statewide campaign, scheduled from September 17 to October 17, will integrate governance initiatives with public participation across every village, booth, and development block. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath maintained that the campaign would kick off on ‘Seva Diwas’ with public prayers, environmental drives such as ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, and health camps.
To highlight national progress and regional heritage, 20 dedicated yatras will carry river water between Gujarat’s Badnagar and Kashi, hosting daily community interactions on the ‘Nation First’ vision. Educational institutions across the state will conduct painting, essay, and speech competitions on the theme of a self-reliant India, culminating in a state-level felicitation ceremony on October 7.
The Chief Minister asserted that programs like ‘Seva Setu’ will directly register beneficiaries for housing, pensions, and healthcare cards to ensure complete scheme coverage. Additionally, special events like ‘Aangan Milan Ka Seva’ will honor Anganwadi and ASHA workers, while the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’ will engage over 24,000 state startups and technical institutes. The campaign will also incorporate the observances of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Jayanti on September 25 and Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.
