CHANDIGARH / BENGALURU: A delegation of leaders including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, and Manish Sisodia visited the Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru to meet Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. During the visit, the Chief Minister addressed a gathering of devotees, participated in meditation, and expressed hopes for sustained national harmony and growth.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann declared that the peaceful surroundings of the Ashram provided a deeply enriching experience. Speaking on Punjab’s cultural heritage, he stated that the state has long stood as the “Sword Arm of the country” due to its courageous history. He emphasised that alongside bravery, the values of mutual respect, secularism, and peaceful coexistence form the core of Punjab’s social fabric.
Highlighting the need to empower the younger generation with positive values, the Chief Minister praised Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for his continuous guidance to society. Bhagwant Singh Mann asserted that the state administration aims to complement physical development with moral and ethical foundations, adding that nurturing universal brotherhood remains a shared national responsibility.
