New Delhi, July 24: Representatives from the government and the Cockroach Janta Party convened at Vithalbhai Patel House for renewed discussions aimed at settling matters surrounding exam irregularities. The delegation representing the administration included Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Minister of State for PMO Jitendra Singh, while national spokesperson Saurav Das participated on behalf of the youth group.
“The demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan remains central to the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar,” representatives maintained during the deliberations.
Prior to the current session, previous interactions involving Nadda, Das, and CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka took place during consecutive meetings at the minister’s residence. The group subsequently requested a neutral location for further official dialogue, leading to the selection of the current venue. The talks began shortly after the conclusion of activist Sonam Wangchuk’s 26-day hunger strike, which ended following official assurances regarding his primary concerns.
