Faridabad, August 3: A fatal attack inside a private school premises in Haryana’s Faridabad left a 30-year-old faculty member dead on Monday morning. Law enforcement agencies have initiated a widespread search operation after a masked individual attacked the mother of two in a school corridor, inflicting severe injuries to her chest and neck before fleeing the area.
Eyewitnesses and school staff attempted to intervene and transport the victim to the nearby Al-Falah Medical College and Hospital, where medical authorities confirmed she had succumbed to her injuries.
Detailing the sequence of events, Sector-58 Police Station House Officer Inspector Kewal Singh stated that the suspect entered the school grounds during morning operating hours with his face covered. He declared that when the teacher emerged from her classroom, the attacker pulled her into the passageway and carried out the assault, threatening colleagues who tried to protect her.
Police units reached the campus shortly after receiving emergency calls to secure the area and collect forensic evidence from the site.
Investigating officers stated that preliminary clues have been gathered from the school’s internal monitoring system. Inspector Kewal Singh affirmed that police teams are reviewing the recovered footage to confirm the assailant’s identity and secure an early arrest.
