Lucknow: Attending the golden jubilee celebrations of the Lok Ayukta Organisation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that constitutional bodies play a crucial role in maintaining administrative accountability and upholding public ethics. Recalling the organization’s inception in Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister observed that the institution continues to fulfill its statutory mandate under current leadership by addressing public complaints on merit without bias. He affirmed that transparency and honesty in governance produce the best outcomes for welfare delivery, reiterating the state’s commitment to supporting the oversight body.

The Chief Minister detailed how direct benefit transfers and digital monitoring have removed intermediaries from state pension schemes and essential services, ensuring that benefits reach eligible citizens seamlessly. To further strengthen administrative oversight over the coming decades, Chief Minister Adityanath recommended compiling a comprehensive historical record of the Lok Ayukta’s achievements and organizing a national conference inviting Lokayuktas and Lokpal members from across the country. State officials, including Lok Ayukta Justice Sanjay Mishra and senior administrative representatives, were present as the Chief Minister urged continued technological adoption to enhance institutional efficiency.
