Patiala/Chandigarh, Sept 17: In a key administrative development ahead of upcoming political cycles, the Aam Aadmi Party designated veteran leader and former state minister Surjit Rakhra as the organizational incharge for the Samana constituency. The leadership simultaneously assigned Balvir Singh to oversee party activities in Shahkot.
Party representatives maintained that these segment-level leadership roles are aimed at enhancing local governance connection and public engagement. Rakhra, who formally joined the ruling administration in May following a long career in regional politics, brings extensive organizational experience to the role. Representatives declared that the newly appointed incharges will lead grassroots operations and coordinate local development efforts in their respective regions.
